The Operatives CITB Test Required For CSCS Blue Skilled Cards

What do you need to get a Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card?

When applying for a Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card, under the guidance of CITB you require two things:

  • A Valid CITB Health Safety and Environment Score Report / Certificate
  • A Valid Qualification such as a NVQ Level 2 in your trade

If you already have Level 1 Award in Health Safety in a Construction Environment Certificate and Qualification then you do not need to do the course again as this is a lifetime award.

Level 2 NVQs Or Relevant accepted City and Guilds are obtained in person on site or at a training college.

Once you have the HS&E certificate and hold your NVQ 2 then apply for your Blue Skilled Worker CSCS card we recommend only getting your card directly.

If you do not have a NVQ 2 already the you could have Level 1 Award in Health Safety in a Construction Environment Certificate and Qualification to obtain a Green Labourer Card.

You may be on a training scheme and not need either the Blue or Green CSCS Card, you may qualify for a trainee or Red Temporary CSCS Card.
