Make sure you do the following on the day of the test:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your test starts.
- Bring your confirmation booking email or letter.
- Bring your valid UK Passport and or Driving Licence as confirmed at the time of booking, remember no ID no Test no Refund or Reschedule.
- After your test, you must keep your Score Report safe as it has important information on it relating to your card application.

Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Leicester CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre can be reached by following the signs for the Cultural Quarter/Curve Theatre parking. The car park entrance is next door to the test centre.
Parking
There is parking on-site at the Leicester CSCS Test Centre in the Rutland Centre multi-storey which is just next door which costs £8.20 for 2 hours. There are also parking facilities at Queen Street Car Park which is a 4 minute walk away (0.3 miles) and costs £1.40 for 2 hours.
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Halford Street. These are: 49, X84, 86, 87, 88, and 88E. The nearest bus stops are on Charles Street and Humberstone Gate, all of which are a 2-4 minute walk from the test centre. St Margaret’s Bus Station is also just a 10 minute walk away (0.5 miles).
Train
The nearest train station to the test centre is Leicester Train Station which is approximately 8 minutes’ walk away (0.4 miles).
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. There is full disabled access available. The building entrance is flat, there is a wheelchair button for the entrance doors, and a lift available to the third floor where the test centre is located. The test centre does not permit people to wait in the centre who are not booked for a test.
