Make sure you do the following on the day of the test:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your test starts.
- Bring your confirmation booking email or letter.
- Bring your valid UK Passport and or Driving Licence as confirmed at the time of booking, remember no ID no Test no Refund or Reschedule.
- After your test, you must keep your Score Report safe as it has important information on it relating to your card application.

If you’re planning to travel to the Manchester CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located in the Blue Building in the Ground Floor units 3 & 4 on Universal Square off Devon Street North.
Parking
There is no on-site parking at the Manchester CSCS Test Centre although on street is available on nearby roads. There is parking available at Ardwick Station which is a 4 minute walk away (0.4 miles) and costs £3.50 for 2 hours. Parking facilities are also on offer at Higher Ardwick costing £3.00 for 2 hours, 6 minutes walk away (0.5 miles).
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Universal Square. These are: 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, and 192. The nearest bus stops are on Devonshire Street and Stockport Road, all of which are a 2-4 minute walk from the test centre.
Train
The nearest railway station to the centre is Manchester Ardwick Train Station on Blind Lane which is approximately 3 minutes’ walk away (0.2 miles).
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Disabled access is available via the ramp at the main entrance to the complex. After entering through the main doors there is flat level access to the test centre.
